Hi McK_BCG,
Actually I did follow your late November discussion and even if I am a little confused (you talked about a MCK offer in the US and a BCG offer in Europe and apparently you finally accepted a McKinsey offer with the Paris office), I have a question for you : can you confirm that BCG in Paris (I assume that you also got your BCG offer from Paris) offers 43k euros as starting salary? Maybe they don't offer any bonuses (that I don't know). It would be nice of you if you can detail it a little bit.
And to answer your question, yes I think it is a little low for McKinsey. I have different offers from smaller consulting firms in Paris as well, and they pay a little more than that (I thought McKinsey would offer a higher salary). |

First, I was able to transfer my McK offer from US to Paris after I went through the another final round of interviews with that office.
BCG Paris offered 41k euros + bonus, it is about the same as McK paris, but about 10% lower than US.
