In Reply To: If I flew to my home town where my fiance lives rather than my base town? I.e. if I am based in DC and fly to NYC they would not care? Also, I know it's crucial to spend some Fridays at the office, but would it be okay if once or twice a month I worked from home on a Friday as a new associate?
Message: In theory yes. In practice it is somewhat variable. ie I would not promise your fiance that you will be there 1-2 a month upfront. Say if for your first 4 months you are staffed on an in town project in DC with an in town team, then it will be difficult to justify flying to NYC every 2nd Friday rather than working with them in the office. However, if on your next project you are out of town with a team from all over the place then it could be relatively easy to do quite frequently as everyone will be scattered on Fridays, and particularly if you are spending Fridays in a town with a McK office e.g. NYC
