McKinsey can actually be relatively flexible in terms of offers.
The way it works is that if you do an internship/ have an return offer for office A, you can apply "rebound" to another office typically in Oct of your final year. You usually have to interview for that alternative office. If it a quiet office you will get it, if they have a limited number of spots it may be more difficult. If it doesn't work out, you always have your original offer.
If you are an ex-BA, it is relatively easy to transfer post MBA.
If you have an offer for an office you really don't want to be in, you have nothing to loose to ask whether you can try to move to another office - but be aware you will likely have to reinterview. |

You basically lose a great "advantage" of having interned with McK(the advantage being avoiding interviewing again)?
