Hi everyone,
I have just managed to recieve an offer for the generalist BA position in an overseas office. While I am very excited about working with the Firm, and think it's a great place to begin my career, I am a little reluctant to leave the US for the time being. The BA program is really an amazing deal, but I am still pondering on whether I should leave the U.S. The reason my offer is overseas is because I worked as a summer analyst overseas as well and the office ended up making me an offer. I know a lot of people would say "are you crazy?? take the offer!! It's only two years!" I guess I'm looking for a little advice, and what the exit-ops might be for someone working at McK abroad and looking to return.
Thanks. |

I am in the same position. I think it is important to consider the MBA package they offer you (should be described in ur contract). Doing an MBA will always allow you to switch back to the States. If you don't want to return but do financial services instead, you can easily pay back the loans.
Although I hear it is relatively difficult to change offices afterwards, you should have fairly similar exit-ops dependent on which European office you worked at. London for example should be pretty flawless I think.
