FWIW the "no" I got from a BCG recruiter was stronger
than from the McK one. It may depend on a combination
of the firm in question and the distance education program.
A distance ed. MBA from Duke for example might get some
respect. |

Don't expect people to dool over a University of Phoenix (a for-profit institution) MBA or Master's Degree.
I would have a hard time hiring someone who earned their online MBA or Master's Degree from University of Phoenix, especially if they live in an area that has regular universities that offer weekend/part-time/full-time MBA programs.
I feel the "online" stuff takes away from the real value / meaning of the MBA.
