Message: I was merely commenting on perception. You can't deny that m/b/b is generally considered a notch above bah (this may or may not be deserved -- i personally think ranking strat firms is futile since the data required to do so -- eg, rev/consultant, ROIC, exit oppty's -- is very difficult to acquire). But the data to determine bschool perception (eg, yield rates, placement success, salaries, research) IS widely available, and such data suggests that stanford is a small notch above w on many metrics. Don't sweat it anyway. Choosing among these 4 firms and those 3 schools is like arguing about ferrari vs. masarati. They're all extremely respected and you'll have awesome oppty's no matter which one you choose.
