Just wanted to remind you that you'll have tremendous earning potential after 4 years (possibly 3 years with 1 year European MBA) of fun : )
Also, I think it'll be hard to calculate the long term value of your experience as McKinsey BA. You are really in a super select group amongst your peers.

You know Europe is not a country and each country has its own standard of living.
I believe at McKinsey, 40k?? is a great salary for Spain, an average salary for France, a poor salary for UK.
