In Reply To: I'm 24, undergrad degree in Econ and grad degree in Environmental Mgmt. Worked with a small mgmt consulting company for the past year (still am) as an analyst and want to switch. I want to join one of the big ones and am not sure what the best way to go about would be. Also, what would be my ideal position, as I do have a Masters but not substantial work experience! Any advice will be appreciated!
Message: Not the answer you want to hear, but... Go get an MBA from a top school, then join as an Associate. Now, getting into a top school is easier said than done. From the description of your background, it might be difficult. Most consultants in B-school tend to come from the top firms. Why don't you go to industry, work for a start up, or something, then do B school. Good luck.
