datamonitor, reuters business insights, various research analysts (wall street) are good starting points.
once you have a basic idea of the forecasted market (through above or similar sources) look at past historical analogs (if any) to get some guidance on how market share gain/product uptakes have taken places. also ompare existing and anticipated products/services with yours to get a relative sense of market share. could also use some classical product lifecycle curves (some jazzy stuff like bass diffusion model, etc).
