If I am applying for a specific position at a specific company, does my resume still need an objective line? Basically, I'm wondering if I need it because I have precious little landscape left on my one-pager, and it seems like it would be sort of obvious that "I am seeking a blah blah."
Are objective lines generally more useful for resumes that are (for example) put on Monster.com or just sent out through networks, etc.? |

If it is for a specific position at a specific company, you don't need the "Objective" line.
Indicate the position in your cover letter.
Look around on Vault, you will find enough tips for resume writing.
