Then maybe you are right about McKinsey MBA interviews because the firm am I at we only interviewed about 1 in 6 from Stanford and Haas. This is a fact. I was part of the process. |

Really? Are you talking about MBA recruiting or undergrad?
I'm not from Stanford or Haas, but I know that people at K/W and several other top schools had no problems getting interviews with BCG/Bain. The invite lists were well over 100 people (more at W).
I have no data on Stanford/Haas, but I'll take your word for it. Interviewing one out of six people from Stanford seems quite low for a school that is only second to Harvard (in many people's eyes).
