Christ, what a bunch of crap about nothing of import.
Look, it has been said 1000 times here, if you like the people at McKinsey, you'll have a good time, learn a lot, and have great opportunities. If you don't you'll have a less good time, learn less, and have less good opportunities.
There is no "magic" about McKinsey vs. anywhere else, and also no disaster looming, as far as I can tell.
The biggest risk we have is that we don't get enough people #1 above and hire more people #2, as someone said already.
Those who find DC great might find the Firm hell and vice versa, not because one is better, but because one is a better fit for the person.
