I am being offered a consultant position at Deloitte's Enterprise Risk Services area. The offer letter states that a successful background check would complete the hiring process.
Last year, I foreclosed on a house due to my brother losing his job. We both owned the home. He also filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy under my name to get a stay on the foreclosed home. I never authorized such filing. I have not defaulted and will not default with other lenders. These two items have seriously damaged my credit history.
Will Deloitte not hire me because of the foreclosure and bankruptcy filing?
