Sorry....accidentally posted without completing my train of thought......
Any way...one HR recruiter outrightly told me that her consulting firm....name withheld....only considered candidates from top 10 schools. I wonder what this narrow minded approach does for diversity of thought in thw rokplace since everyone is basically a cookie-cut image.
I would really like to hear from other MBA's with similar experiences and how they have been able to overcome this hurdle.....

It is so classless for these HR consultants to hire people only from Harvard or MIT.I know people from these schools and they got there because their parents could afford it, and not because they were brilliant. Don't these HR consultants watch the news or read about the Harvard grads at Enron or Arthur Anderson who are unethical but also stupid enough to get caught?
