.. so to continue whork at the consualtant level (that's after two years in corp finance). Is it at a more macro level? I work in the consumer products sector, so am looking to join a startegy shop that operates in retail & consumer. Any ideas which firms to target and also what kinda work they do ( alittle more specific). Any help would be much aprreciated.

I typed two long messages and they just got cut drastically somehow. Ok I'll keep this short ... I'm basically looking to move to startegy consulting in the retail and consumer sector and would appreciate your advice on what kind of work they do (some specific details on the kinds of projects) and also names of a few strategy shope sthat operate in this sector. I have been in corporate finance for two years (one year hedge fund and one year i-banking) and while i have learnt a fair deal, i don';t think i'd like to remain in the industry for too long.
