OK, so the topic might be hair raising to some, but I'd appreciate feedback anyway.
I am the quintessential cute girl. I??m not full of myself, I don??t even date. I??m basically boring because all I want to do is work and build a decent career. My problem: working in banking is proving to be a problem time and again, because guys flirt with me and chat me up, work comes second. Being a blonde doesn??t necessarily help. My credibility is low, because I??m perceived as a party girl. The irony is, I go to my empty house and enjoy reading physics books in my sparetime.
How do I bridge this distance? How do I build credibility? Guys, girls, bankers ?? please help.

I cannot believe you are complaining. You have or can acquire enough political muscle to get what you want in terms of project directions and methodologies(where there is leeway) at work. Plus I am sure you have some manipulative powers to train the men around you with extra "smiles and touches", when they put work first. I see your low credibility as an adavantage to work from behind the scenes to make things happen without getting shot down tomorrow. Nonetheless, theer are a few disadvantages as well, but not too significant.
If you cannot cope with your assets, beef up with beer, dye your hair and see how seriously you get taken then.
