I am finishing off my Phd in computational Physics in an applied field. I am interested in moving into a team based envoirnment, with a variety of work. I also want obtain the maximum benefit from my PhD although I have no business experience. I have considered accenture but from what I have been reading I would be programing 12 hours a day in another country. I would have a real interest in getting my teeth into some real business issues? The work/life balance is very important to me. Any advice on possible options and their merits would be greatly appreciated.

Really, if you wanted to do all these things, why did you get a Ph.D. in Physics?
In what way do you expect to obtain "the maximum benefit from my PhD" in a business setting?
