You need to be a wee bit more specific when you are talking boutique. Do you mean smaller general consulting firms (<50 consultants), industry-specific firms (healthcare/financial services), or function-specific firms (HR, supply chain, ops, strat)?
To be specific, I used to work for PRTM which is considered a boutique for supply chain and product development services to technology companies. Their main West Coast office is in Mountain View (go to www.prtm.com for the exact address). |

Thank you for the response. What I meant by boutique was "lesser known sort of firms". Breaking into the bigger names incldg. PRTM is fairly rough now, so I want to break into somewhere less competitve, and still gain experience, and then make a big jump maybe 3-5 years down into a better known firm. My experience is in finance -3 years and logistics experience- 2 years. I am interested in general consulting or healthcare or even function specific like strategy. Have no IT background at all.
Any more help will be appreciated. Thanks again LA_guy!
