I heard that firms maintain a 'black list' of dings. Is this true? As a rule of thumb, how long does one have to wait before reapplying? |

From personal experience and feedback, I understand that the standard window is two years. Also, I heard that it's not exactly a black list; it's more that with the passage of time and additional experience, you will be more attractive for them to talk to.
