If any of you have ever noticed, the good majority of the people who post messages on the Accenture message board have almost nothing good to say. What I am wondering is what do non-Accenturites think? With honesty, what do you all think are the goods and the bads of Accenture? |

Accenture is huge - as a result, its focus is fuzzy and easy to mis-assign if you're outside of the organization. To be honest, pick any type of consulting, and Accenture does it. I have associates who spend 90 hours per week testing code and writing mindless applications. I also have associates who spend 60 hours a week working directly with c-level folks to craft marketing strategies, post-merger integration, and credit risk analysis. Honestly, the majority of the workforce is in the tech-hell. But there are some serious strategists in this firm who could compete at any level.
