Message: I have just completed my first year at Cambridge Associates as an investment consultant. While I learned alot, I want to focus more on industries and corporate consulting as opposed to strict investment management info. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion on my potential move - I want to move into a top strategy consulting firm, but I dont know if it's worth it - Cambridge has top notch b-school placement, but it seems like you need some banking experience at some point to get into things such as PE/VC/Hedge fund. Also, what would be the best way to get into a MC firm? I'm kinda confused, so whoever can help - Thanks
