you're going to have to go to business school no matter what, so i say F consulting at this point. worry about getting work experience that will get you into a top-notch b-school, and *then* start over and worry about getting a consulting job. yes, it probably does help when you're interviewing as an MBA if you have pre-grad school experience, but it wouldn't kill you. |

Hi Guys,
Just joined vaults. Would love to hear some advise from the pro's... I come from very very different background. RETAIL in London.....(basically merchandising). Have some 5 years experience in this industry and have had enough of it. Looking to change into either i-bank or consulting.... can't get a break though!!!! Have applied to some 10 I banks but no luck...what to do????
