It all depends on the kind of work you want to do. Bain does do projects where you only travel 1-2 days a week, but they also do the traditional monday through thursday projects (increasingly more common there I am told). BCG follows the same model, but I've also heard they travel IN STYLE (upgrades on flights, car services, etc). If you REALLY don't want to travel, try something more financial. LEK/Alcar and Stern Stewart barely travel at all (but their work is boring for most). Certainly stay away from the big 5 though. |

If by style you mean upgrades on flights and car services, it is not only BCG that travels in style but almost all of the top five! That includes McKinsey, Booz-allen, ATK and Bain. McKinsey and Booz-Allen will also fly you first class if the travel is more than 4 hours long. That is you don't have to suck up to the attendents for an upgrade.
