In Reply To: I'm a first year Sr. Manager at a major management consulting firm and am looking at potential opportunities in Industry/Corporate. What job levels should someone with a Sr. Manager title be looking for? For example, I believe that a Sr. Manager level position in consulting would be equivalent to a Director position at an Investment Bank. Or a VP level position at a firm like American Express. Thanks.
Message: This guy is not a senior manager. If he were, he'd know how to structure a client contract (see the "doing the independent thing" thread") and he would know what sort of job he could get in corporate. He probably would have several job offers from clients under his belt by now. People will be more willing to give information when you're honest with us.
