Thanks for the advice, not Oxbridge, but definitely first class!
MBA is probably the way forward, hopefully in the US.
Anyone have any different experiences??
(PS What makes Oxbridge so hot in Strategy... apart from the Old Boy NEtwork?!?) |

The reason they recruit pre-MBA's primarily from Oxbridge is not that every smart person is from Oxbridge, but because that is where there highest yield of smart people will be. The same logic applies to why they recruit MBAs only from top B-schools.
The 'Old Boy Network'is a reason I guess, as pretty much every UK educated partner is from Oxford or Cambridge.
You can always apply now, pre-MBA, and see how you get on. Even if rejected, you can still apply after an MBA and get in-plenty of people do.
