OK, I do understand now what you are emphasising. Thanks for clarifying this and of course for all your help.
You are writing a lot about your company and that your culture is quite different from the OC&C ones. Your place sounds like a good consulting company to work for ;-) Thus what makes your culture so special i.e. compared to OC&C ? |

is probably less hierarchical and is probably more diverse. The main difference is that when doing analysis our company will probably carry out more interviews than a company like OC&C and so our work will have a stringer qualitative element. OC&C will use a load of superbright Oxbridge types who will do a lot of very quantitative analysis and will carry out a few interviews (however, normally with pretty damn knowledgable people). The end result is that our reports do have a stonger qualitative element as we do speak with more customers and competitors etc but we are not so strong when it comes to the quant work and developing strategy.
So basically OC&C is a top strategy house where as we are a 3rd tier strategy house, but with a strong market research capability.
But my advise is go and work for OC&C if you can. Do a few years there, go get an MBA if needs be and then you will be able to go to any consultancy pretty much...
