switch carrer from maangement accounting to consulting

I hold a professional qualification(CIMA)and all the while my cerrer paths are in accounting line(4 years plus).I find it hard to change to consulting line since i did not have any industry experience in particular line.
Now i would like to switch to consulting line...Any suggestion???
B)which level should I start from ie: business analyst/ junior consultant???
c) Any consulting firms still hiring???
d)waht is the salary rangeas a business analyst at this current market rate??
