How much money do think is laundered from the black market to the "legit" market every year (globally speaking)? |

I assume that the vast majority of criminal money is laundered. Because you don't read that much about them catching stuff. I would include fencing goods, going to a pawn shop, etc. as a form of laundering. And even just spending stolen petty cash is laundering. The cash was dirty initially. After spending for goods, it is no loonger dirty.
I guess, you could try estimating the cost of crime? Number of criminals times some amount of theft per person?
Interesting question. NOt sure that I really have a killer insight...
