I might have an opportunity with a smaller consulting firm that focuses on strategic sourcing. I like the people there a lot and I think the work will be interesting.
However, I've been told it gets old after a year or two.
Here's my concern - if I do "sourcing" management/ strategy consulting for 1.5 or 2 years, am I pigeon-holed or limited career-wise?
I eventually want to focus more on the revenue side of businesses (via consulting or industry).
Thing is, it's not like I'm looking at a ton of options. |

...skills to it and see it as an inverse market strategy project, then you should have no problems. You should always see any consulting project as an opportunity to apply your problem-solving skills.
