I'm sure McK will be a step up but just for your general knowledge, I interviewed for a corporate financial analyst position at stern stewart and the final round was full of corporate accounting and m&a questions. I mean you really had to have your theories on point. It was four interviews and every single one was like taking a test. Just make sure you prepare. Good luck. |

Stern Stewart and McK interviews are actually pretty different. SS has a reputation for killing people with stupid finance and accounting questions.
The 2nd rounds at McK are very similar to the first rounds except they are often with *very* senior people, more senior than at other firms. Nobody here can tell you anything that will give you an advantage going into 2nd rounds at McK, except to say that if you made second round, they like you.
