Someone at the MBA forum requested that I post the job description. Here is what I posted.
"Good point. Let me tell you a little about the job. This is a Director of Strategic Pricing position that will report to a VP or the GM. This is a very high-level position with incredible visibility into a $250MM company (parent company is $2B). Based on a premier consulting study, our company created a pricing group. My boss and I are currently swamped with so many projects. This is a VERY stable company (105 years old), and we are expanding our group to include another smart/motivated person. The position will include creating and implementing optimal pricing and bid strategies, while working in tandem with senior mgt, sales, and marketing. We are looking for a high-power MBA with experience in Consulting, Marketing, or Sales. Analytical experience in a quantitative role required.
I'm not a headhunter, nor do I work in HR. I'm the Pricing Manager, and decided to include Vault members for consideration since I frequented these boards when I was unemployed 17 months ago. I know this is a great place to find talented people.
