Just wondering if anyone could let me know if it was ok to jot down a few notes on paper during a case interview?
Is it a big no-no, or sort of expected?
Cheers.

Remember that the goal of the case interview is to show the recruiter that you can think through a business problem in a logical way. Notetaking is absolutely expected as much as you can without distracting yourself and without recording frivolous detail.
When I was recruited, most of my interviews resulted in a half-page of notes, calculations, and even an occasional P&L. Without taking notes, showing your math, and thinking out loud, it's hard to show the logic behind your responses.
