Europeans taking the jobs!!! |

It appears that a growing number of UK IB and consulting jobs go to our multi-lingual neighbours from the continent including germans and french. I'm aiming at LSE and oxbridge. Is it to late for me to learn a language (prefereably german) in time, as i gather a lot of consultancy projects will be in europe when working in London. I did spanish at school but Spain is not exactly where the heart of business lies.
What to you suggest is the best step i could possibly take.
Most europeans in the business world can speak english anyway so it wouldnt be too bad if i never learned another language, right?
