They don't care about the specific major in terms of what you learned. What they care about is if you are going to be intimidated by having to crunch some numbers, think through an equation, etc. And from the tone of your note...I sorta get the impression that you are intimidated by quant stuff. |

Thanks for the advice. Actually, I'm not intimidated by mathematics at all. I'm just worried that my failure to pursue a more quantitative major might lead them to believe I am -- which apparently, it might (as it did for you).
