For a summer internship, have you considered Pharma and Biotech? Between NYC and NJ you have access to about every big pharma company, along with plenty of biotech companies in NJ, Boston, SF.
Internships in corporate development, life cycle planning, and/or marketing might be equally useful as a consulting spot in building some healthcare experience. |

I am looking at everything from the larger consulting firms to boutique shops to pharma companies. Definitely wouldn't mind getting industry experience for the summer, but having never been a consultant before, I would love to work for a consulting firm who's clients are healthcare companies.
