People at McK have good if not excellent academics. It's vey unlikely that someone with a 2.2 or 3rd could get an entry level position. |

Hi,
I went to a public institution (top-20) and got a 3.1 in mechanical engineering. Got a 690 GMAT and have worked for 3 years in a San Francisco Tech Firm. I will go get an MBA at a 2nd tier public school and will do well I believe. Is my GPA going to stop me from getting interviews at Consulting firms when I graduate in 2006? How about the top Strat firms? Thanks for your advice all!
