Message: A few questions from a guy at a regular company (we do stuff, not tell people how to do stuff): 1. With only a year of non-consulting work experience, should I apply to firms as an experience professional, which I'm not, or a student, which I'm not? 2. Will I be considered on equal ground with students currently in school? 3. If I've only been at a job for a year, does it look like I'm not giving my present job a chance? 4. If I stuck it out in my job for 4-5 years, I'm confident I would become a junior manager. If I then earned an MBA from a good school, would I be considered on equal ground as my MBA peers with consulting experience? 5. On a side note: does anyone out there have an MPP/MBA, or even just an MPP. What are you doing? Thanks in advance for your comments.
