How did your interviews with McK and BCG turn out? Did you feel you had a lot to prove coming from a medical background?
Also, I posted a message on the healthcare board about postbac predmed programs. No one seems to read that board, so I havent gotten any responses. Do you think you could take a look at my message and provide some feedback? Thanks a bunch! |

The interviews went well. I believe I had as much to prove as anyone else competing for a spot desired by so many talented, accomplished people, although I was evaluated on somewhat different criteria than the MBA's. That said, the medical background did necessitate an explanation of my motivation in doing this transition. If its something you're still thinking about, I would be very careful in committing to medical school and very selective in choosing schools...resources available for exploring these interests will vary tremendously.
As to premed/postbacc programs, I can't say that I am familiar with any of them, so I can't comment. I don't think the vault board will be a particularly lively forum for you...perhaps you should try kaplan or princeton review?
