My understanding is that age discrimination laws only protect the elderly (65+). Still, no professional firm should insult recruits like that (what if you were a client!?). I would advise mentioning it to the recruiter, but don't say anything about the EEOC given that you're not in a protected class and they can't therefore do anything. The recruiter will be sure to bring it to the attention of the appropriate people. |
