In Reply To: A lot of times firms are looking for fit. They want to see that the person can loosen up a bit and be themselves. If they say "business casual" and you walk in wearing a suit, tie, and the whole 9 you are going to come across as uptight. I would go with a nice button down dress shirt, either blue or white, gray slacks and maybe a sport coat. Definitely not a suit and tie though. BTW, what firm are you interviewing with? That might also have some bearing on the decision.
