peeps who are pro, help me with a little question....I am interview very soon with a consulting sompany and i was told attire is business casual...I don want to over -dress or under-dress.
Can anyone pleasse advise me on what to wear; is a tie necessary?

better to be over-dressed than under-dressed. yeah, sure the interviewer might seem more casual (in dress and in attitude), but that doesn't mean you should look or even sound like them. Wear the tie, the dress shirt, everything. even the jacket. What could it hurt?
I once interviewed a guy who came well prepared to the interview (for entry-level consulting), but he came without a tie and a jacket and I immediately knocked him for it, and it wasn't that the tie was a requirement, but before we even started, my first impression was that he lacked professionalism based on his casual attitude in dress attire.
