sorry, what i really wanted to know was, when one starts out how are they supposed to have input on projects in sectors where they have rarely come across, how does a company help them to adapt.
In UK jobs posts they mainly call new consultants graduate trainees, i just assumed the US firms didnt give a much training.
by the way as much as it pays i would never go into banking.
Asset management is where my main interest lies, hence the lack of consulting knowledge.
