In Reply To: What kind of economic consulting do you want to do? I've never heard of "forensic economic research" but I have heard of forensic accounting and economic consulting in the context of litigation, regulatory, or restructuring matters. I have also heard of economic research positions within so-called "think-tanks", in an Investment Bank, or with the federal government. Most of the economic research positions are for PhD's however.
Message: How does one get into this area in forensic accounting/economics? Are there entry-level positions? I find it interesting...What do companies look for? high GPA's...what kind of experience?
