If anyone can correct me here - that submitting your resume through a firm's online application by pasting, submitting or uploading your resume is a waste of time. Do recruiters ever look at that? What are the chances that you'll land an interview that way if you feel the job matches your qualifications? Is it better to have the recruiter's contact info and contact them? |

I used the online application and got interviews at BCG and McKinsey. I had no initial contact with BCG aside from the application, so recruiters definitely look closely at them.
