Not formally. Top-tier consultancies do often assign a colleague to each interviewee. When I call my interviewees, they often ask questions like, "so what should I expect in a case interview" with a lot of follow-ons. Sometimes it's faster to spend a few minutes on a mini-case. Not every colleague will do this.
Recruits appreciate the favor when it comes time to decide between offers.
