I meant call up HR and talk to the director (it has to be someone in charge), make them nervous and you never know what might happen. If this is a hot company the LAST thing they want is to gain a bad reputation or be sued for discriminating hiring practices which they pretty much deserve.

My understanding is that age discrimination laws only protect the elderly (65+). Still, no professional firm should insult recruits like that (what if you were a client!?). I would advise mentioning it to the recruiter, but don't say anything about the EEOC given that you're not in a protected class and they can't therefore do anything. The recruiter will be sure to bring it to the attention of the appropriate people.
