In 5 years of consulting, I've been on only one project that required a full-day of work on a Saturday. I was prepared for long hours, as you seem to be, and found that the work days were not as long as I had anticipated. What I did not accurately anticipate was the physical and mental burden of travelling. After a week of taxi cabs, waiting in lines at the airport, hotel, restaurant, etc; returning rental cars, etc. will leave you exhausted when you get back on Friday. All that being said, consulting is a lot of fun for a while! |
