hello,
i'm a graduating mechanical engineer from canada's top school queen's university. have top grades, speak 5 languages (went to boarding schools all over europe), extensive working experience and all those other skills that will supposedly get you a very good job.
I applied to every consulting firm known to mankind and got only one letter from Marakon saying they will consider me when they start recruiting next march!!!
i went back to my roots and within 3 weeks got a job at a top engineering firm for a $58,000 salary and normal hours!!!!
to all engineers out there thinking their analytical skills will be appreciated in the business world i suggest you at least also apply to eng. firms. the salaries are a lot higher for about half the hours.
Business is not worth it!!!!
