Message: and would like to get an analyst position at a consulting firm. Would I be able to get an interview/would firms be interested in hiring a pre-mba a few years out of school? Just a bit of background on myself: I worked at GS in investment banking, got tired of the people and the job, and and now am in a top graduate school (Ph.D.). I can't see myself as a researcher for the rest of my life, and would like to get into consulting. I will not have completed my Ph.D. by the time I send my resumes out. Any thoughtful insights would be much appreciated. Thx.
