I'd rather not give out my name. (If I was ready to do that, I'd use my real name as my handle.) I did strategy constulting.
Obviously, my statement was a bit over-cynical. Those jobs appeal to some people. However, I think that, in general, very few people enjoy the "craft" of either job. They enjoy the prestige and pay. |

I've seen you post frequently on a few boards, namely McK and this one. What I meant to ask was your background. I'm surprised that -- given your work in strategy -- you are as cynical as you are about the quality of the work.
I'm not going to ask what firm, but give me a rough idea of what you're doing now, explaining briefly why -- if you have -- you left strategy.
